Welcome to the Gila River Indian Community Department of Environmental Quality (GRIC DEQ) Outreach and Education Program. We are committed to empowering our community through environmental education and engagement initiatives.
The GRIC DEQ Outreach and Education Program aims to foster environmental stewardship and sustainability within the Gila River Indian Community. Our mission is to educate community members about environmental issues, promote sustainable practices, and empower individuals to make informed decisions that positively impact our environment.
What We Do:
- Provide educational opportunities for community members of all ages to learn about environmental conservation and protection.
- Engage with schools, community groups, and tribal departments to promote environmental literacy and advocacy.
- Offer resources and support to individuals and groups interested in implementing sustainable practices at home, school, or work.
